The residence has two entrances from the ancient Via del Borgo, a raised pathway winding through the homes—an architectural gem unique in the world. Once a defensive bastion, it later became the neighborhood of the cart drivers who, along with their animals (hence the name Via degli Asini), transported gypsum from the nearby quarries.
Another entrance is from Porta delle Dame, where, ascending a few steps into the Borgo, you can explore the charming, perched streets of the historic center and continue to the three hills, enjoying enchanting views.
The buffet breakfast is served at the hotel, 150 meters from the residence, offering a wide selection of sweet and savory items, fresh fruit, hot, and cold beverages. Upon request, breakfast can also be served at the Dimora nel Gesso.

Check-in after 22:00hrs should also be pre-arranged with Reception 24 hours prior to arrival but could incur an extra cost of €20.00 upto 24:00hrs.
Check-out is from 07:00hrs to 11:00hrs.
If not pre-arranged with Reception for a later Check-out, there could be an extra charge of 50% of the room charge until 15:30hrs.
Checking-out after 15:30hrs without prior agreement, will incur the full cost of an extra night’s stay.
The rooms are cleaned every morning between the hours of 09:30hrs and 13:00hrs.
